Within the English language improvement plan, SUMMEM gives us the opportunity to teach English integrated with other content such as social or natural sciences. This is CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning : " an approach in which a foreign language is used as a tool in the learning of a non-language subject in which both, language and the subject have a joint role"  as professor Marsh coined in 2006). We know it as AICLE and out of the three English hours a week in each primary group, we dedicate one hour to the SUMMEM topic of the term.

Here are some examples from 4th, 5th and 6th classes developing different contents of their "Itineraris d'aprenentatge", that we called School Trip in 4th, Climate Change in 5th and Mountains, volcanoes and earthquakes in 6th.

Students approach this experience in a very exciting way and are always eager to learn new things.
