This week, the BAT students and I talked about surviving through an apocalypse: what supplies would one need, what is the best location to live, and what kind of people should our new community focus on (that is, should we have more doctors or teachers or an equal number). In 2ESO, the students played a game to see who could make the best sentence using 3 random words but without using the word “and” anywhere in their sentence.

This week we continued exploring our new plays! Each student received a speaking role and has begun to improvise lines and create the script for the final performance. In class we steered away from games for the week and had one-on-one conversations as well as small group conversation practice!
Infants
We know the names of our toys so well! This week we did a listening activity that got the students to also engage physically. Not only did they have to listen for the name of the toy in English they also had to listen for the color they were to use as well as the amount of toys that were to be colored. Wow!
