This week I read the younger children called Charlie Cook´s Favourite Book which is a story about lots of different types of books. The children seemed to enjoy it and I was able to practice vocabulary with them aswell. This week I also showed a presentation about a British celebration called Bonfire Night which was fun because the story was quite exciting and new for the children!

Primary
This week in Art we have finishing off our Autumnal tree pictures. The children have been learning new vocabulary such as, 'twisting' and 'tissue paper'. I have also put an English Art poster in each classroom which includes colours, shapes, techniques and equipment. All of this will aid the students vocabulary when using art in English and will hopefully make them more confident in conversation and asking for advice during the lesson.

In English this week I have introduced Bonfire Night, a new festival for a lot of the children. We have been practising the story of Guy Fawkes using masks and drama. The creativity shown by each student has been amazing and I am so happy I was able to get the children involved in English through drama, as this is my absolute passion.

In Games this week we have also been creatively exploring English. The children have been playing an adapted version of guess the song in teams. Using English music that they regularly hear on the radio allowed the class to be more accessible.

ESO/BAT
In ESO and BAT we have been continuing with our conversations following last weeks Halloween presentations. There have also been some exciting events such as 3rd ESO's trip to the Catalan Parliament on Friday 10th November which involved a group activity with tough negotiations, as well as the photo shoot for 2nd ESO's school song contest on the school playground.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][cmo_image_carousel items="2" images="16788,16789,16790,16791,16792"][/vc_column][/vc_row]
