ESO/BATX

This was a very easy week for speaking activities. On Tuesday, I went with the 4th ESO on their Peace walk through Sitges. We spent the morning walking from Villanueva to the beach, and then danced to the DJ when all the activities were done. With Wednesday being Sports Day, and exams all this week for many classes, there was little time to practice speaking 🙁

Primary

This week in Primary we finished working on projects and games that we started last week. We had a few more fashion shows in 3rd, some spelling games in 2nd, we read an interactive book about Zoo animals in 1st and in 4th we finished playing the sports question game! In 5th we finished our project about the many sights of Barcelona and in 6th we rehearsed our game presentations for the younger students.

Infants Wow! What an amazing first week this was for me! I have felt so welcome by everyone; teachers, staff, students all greeted me with a smile. On Wednesday we began with activities starting with Psicio 4C learning playground rules in English and Psichio 4B learning the Mr. Sun song.

Week of 10 Dec

ESO/BATX

This week was all about Christmas. I gave a presentation to all the classes about the different holiday traditions that happen in North America: gingerbread houses, mistletoe, eggnog. But the biggest event is the Santa Claus Parade which happens all across North America (although the need to have the parade in November since it is too cold in December).

Primary

This week in Primary was all about finishing up the lessons so we played revision games in order to prepare for the exams! Next week will be our Christmas celebrations and students will learn all about the celebration of Christmas in America.

Infants

It is Christmas time! This week I created a Christmas activity based off of a book recommended by Jordi called “Mr. Willobey´s Christmas Tree”, with a multi-level Christmas tree and animal realia based off of the story.
